Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously starred in Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals)
Narrative
Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Badingham as their long-running rivalry comes to an end. The same filming location was also used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark.
I was also nervous because I have been a book lover
When I first saw that the competitors were coming out, I was a little excited. It was 5 minutes into the first episode and I was hooked.
Clothes, make-up, music – what a soundtrack
Each episode is fast-paced, there’s no point where you get bored or feel like it’s dragged out, as is often the case with many of these mini-series. The characters are all so unique and so well played, the acting and cast are superb.
I understand the frustration of changing Rupert’s appearance
but it’s really not a big deal or has a lasting effect. This series is fun, bold, colorful and nostalgic.
Please come again
It does not disappoint at all and can we take a moment to appreciate David. Tennent, who once again plays the 'bad' the guy is perfect.
