Typically, a landman’s job is to negotiate and finalize deals with landowners who hold mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent. Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, worker housing (human camp), assemble excavation machinery, and drill the wells themselves, especially in remote locations.

They are also part Fixer, Problem Solver, and Facilitator. I have to start by saying that I am a huge fan of almost anything Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, 1923, 1883, Tulsa King, Lioness, Sicario, He’ll or Highwater, Wind River, etc., etc.).
This is another hit for Sheridan
He hits home run after home run and Landman is no exception. Landman is set in modern day Texas where everyone from billionaires to outlaws are trying to get rich in the oil industry.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good new series to watch, especially if you are a Taylor Sheridan fan
This series follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) as he tries to take his company to the top during the oil and fuel boom.
