Director Chris Sanders’ obsession with animation from “Lilo and Stitch”; “For the Croods”; has paid dividends in “The Wild Robot.” This film shows us that sometimes to survive you have to come out more than you are programmed to Venice, TIFF, New York Film Festival and more.
