The self-absorbed Solomon Lynch embarks on a journey through his past, present, and future. But it takes more than the spirit of Christmas to set things right in this story of hope, faith, and redemption. In the scene where Solomon sings “Wish You Were Here,” director George A. Johnson didn’t tell Aaron Fullan that the photo would come to life because he wanted to capture his true reaction. It was also the only song in which the audio was recorded live, not in a studio.
