Narrative

It follows a group of military supermen, consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits at a laptop typing a script. . He appeared in AniMat Crazy Cartoon Cast: The Return of the King (2023).

What an entry for the new regime at D.C. Studios. This first installment & introduction to the new D. C.

Universe is promising & a welcome sight

The story cares about the characters & the animation is first-rate. Speaking of the animation, the new “Tomorrow-verse”; the animation looked very cheap & flat, there is no life in the animation style or stories. D. C.

The art style is fun & vibrant & better pitch

AU has set the standard for quality comic book animation with great stories like: “Under the Red Hood”, “Justice League: Dark”; & "Superman: Doomsday". I have collected all the animated films of that time & I didn’t care for Tomorrow-verse, due to lazy writing & lazy animation art. However, Creature Commandos is a return to form for quality animation. I am already interested in the characters & the story is interesting.

James Gunn is starting this universe right & which makes his upcoming projects highly anticipated. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must-watch list. The show is only 2 episodes back, but the anticipation & connection to the characters is there.. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
