When I watched the first episode, I was so glad it was like 40 minutes long
I think the series is great so far, but there’s one issue that really bugs me: the runtime. Then came episode two – if you include the flashback and credits, that’s not even 25 minutes. If I get 25 minutes of the series every week, I have to watch what happened the week before the last.
As for the cast: Oh my god, they’re kids
As soon as you can’t get completely lost in the universe, you’ve gotten used to it, it’s over. Incredibly unsatisfying! I probably won’t watch it for months and will try to avoid all spoilers so I can watch the whole thing next year.
It’s clear they haven’t had years of acting training
However, the leads are likable, the music fits, and the action isn’t too childish. After two episodes, I’m excited to see what happens next, but unfortunately I won’t know until next year. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
