KJ and Dan have trouble communicating. After several years of a strained relationship, a couple takes a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a sticky trap. Disagreeing on how to proceed, KJ advocates a quick death, while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as comfortable as possible. The couple compromises and moves on, slowly finding their way to meet in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their tranquility is shattered by the arrival of a small woman who can only be described as “eccentric.” She’s their host’s younger sister and had no idea anyone was staying in the family cabin. No problem if she gets stuck, right? As the couple struggles to navigate this intruder into their already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this obnoxious third wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
