Perry was so impressed that he even helped develop the remix

Narrative

In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government attacks. In their search for answers, the kids solve a series of extraordinary mysteries. Steve Perry, former lead singer of Journey, said that Stranger Things’ season 4 remix of Journey’s ’80s hit “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” was done pretty much as he originally wanted it to be in the ’80s, but it lacked the technology.

If you transmit and someone else transmits, you can’t hear them

In several episodes, people are seen “interrupting” someone talking on a two-way or CB radio, meaning one person talks/transmits and the other person transmits to interrupt, and then the other person hears this interruption and stops transmitting. This has been done a couple of times on children’s CB radios and police radios. Those radios, CB and police radios from the show’s days, don’t work that way.

The opening titles and fonts of Stranger Things mimic the opening titles and look of 1980s television series. Featured on FoundFlix: Stranger Things (2016) Ending Explained + Season 2 Clues (2016) ). I love the music, it’s so fitting, it takes me back to the great shows of the 80s

I’m one of those people who was taken aback at the thought that this would be a children’s drama, as from the commercial you could swear it was aimed at a 4pm after school broadcast time, the reality is far from that. It’s a pretty intense, completely immersive drama, the kind of show you can’t help but watch in one sitting. Having grown up in the 1980s, I can appreciate the detail that went into the production, as if they had gone back and filmed it live, it’s incredibly well done.

It’s like The Goonies meets The Quatermass Experiment

Quality in both seasons one and two, I love the growth and suspense that season one has. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are all about science fiction.
