The opening credits sequence features a variety of photographic and painted views and Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York landscape: the Sioux Indian Chief statue "Touch the Clouds" wears War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (chest plate) placed above Brooklyn Bridge Golden Digger Statue placed on Statue of Liberty Route 66 Western Gateway Arch placed on Major Manhattan "Avenue". Tulsa King delivers
Stallone hits the mark with a thoughtful no-nonsense performance where humor and violence meld with near-perfection. The classic fish-out-of-water scenario is well played. And the first episode does a great job of creating what looks like a star.
Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised
Right from the start, the plot begins to weave together. We’ll see how the season plays out, but so far it’s a nice change of pace from some other series debuts lately. No cgi to be sure.
