Narrative
After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz gets stuck on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and takes care of an orphaned goose robot together. According to writer Peter Brown, the inspiration for “The Wild Robot” came from a sketch he made of a robot in a tree.

"The Wild Robot" is this generations “Bambi” so damn great…
like “Twin Peaks” coffee, many hot topics including: finding your heart or living with a disability without being preachy
In the first act, I laughed so hard at the brilliant, natural comic moments shared by Peter From the book of the same name written by Brown. In the second act I was amazed at where this story arc was taking the audience and in the third act I felt salty water in my eyes."The Wild Robot" Lupita Nyong’o, Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice” She’s So Hot Right Now), Bill Nighy, Matt Berry (“Toast of London”), Ving Rhames, Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal and many more do an amazing job breathing life into this script, supported by the lush island atmosphere and the wonderful creatures that live there. Director Chris Sanders’ obsession with animation from “Lilo and Stitch”; “For the Croods”; has paid dividends in “The Wild Robot.” This film shows us that sometimes to survive you have to come out more than you are programmed to Venice, TIFF, New York Film Festival and more.
